Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the remainder of the school year, with potential for limited summer extension. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in California
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in a school-based setting
  • Ability to work under supervision (supervision can be coordinated and costs covered)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLP
  • Complete remaining IEPs and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support students' IEP goals
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sessions and student progress
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to student planning as needed

Position Details:

  • Contract position, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year (June 5)
  • Onsite schedule: 3-5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (7.5 hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Some limited opportunities may be available for Extended School Year (ESY)
