Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California
  • Previous experience within school settings (strongly preferred)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff
  • Organizational skills to manage time across varying caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language therapy activities as outlined by supervising SLPs
  • Provide one-on-one or group interventions for students as directed
  • Collect and record student progress data for ongoing assessment
  • Prepare materials and adapt resources for student needs
  • Participate in team meetings as appropriate
  • Facilitate safe, supportive environments for student learning
