Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time role involves working across two vibrant elementary campuses, providing services to diverse student populations—34 students at Voss Farms and 38 at Lamar. The elementary school hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering structure as you make a direct impact each day.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Hold a current SLPA license/certification in the state of Texas
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred
  • Strong rapport-building skills with elementary-aged children
  • Comfort with documentation platforms and digital tools
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and SHARS documentation a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to assigned elementary students under SLP supervision
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and staff to support student communication goals
  • Utilize the SLP Toolkit for documentation, including session notes and SHARS entries
  • Record service minutes on the district’s IEP minute-tracking platform
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students' speech and language development
