Qualifications:

• Active, state-recognized license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• At least one year of SLPA experience in a school setting required (no new graduates at this time)
• Strong understanding of school-based SLP services and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to work independently, manage caseloads efficiently, and adapt to changes as needed

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of student IEP goals under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Deliver targeted speech-language interventions in individual or small group settings
• Document student progress and maintain accurate session notes
• Assist with screening, assessment, and progress monitoring activities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school policies
