Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
- Active SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Background in healthcare or educational environments is a plus
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting student achievement
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to deliver therapy and intervention plans
- Conduct individual and small-group sessions under supervision, targeting receptive and expressive language, articulation, and social communication
- Document student performance, progress, and participation as directed
- Adapt activities to meet students’ individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive and inclusive environment
- Support classroom integration of speech and language strategies
