Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active SLPA license in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain one
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering direct and indirect therapy services to students
  • Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and performance under the direction of the supervising SLP
  • Prepare therapy materials and organize activities to facilitate student engagement
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related personnel to promote student development
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional learning
