Your background should include:

  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain in Tennessee
  • Prior experience working with students in school-based settings (preferred)
  • Familiarity with implementing therapy plans under the direction of an SLP
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Proficiency with documentation and progress reporting
  • Organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic environments

You will:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining detailed records
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service staff for optimal student support
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on student progress
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
