Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in California
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques for children
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Ability to develop rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans under the guidance of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct intervention services to students in individual and group sessions
- Collect and record data on student progress, contributing to documentation and reports
- Assist with preparing materials and activities for therapy sessions
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with the team to adapt interventions as needed based on student progress
