Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Direct background or comfort working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Strong teamwork approach and commitment to supporting diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Passion for engaging with young children in a classroom environment

Position Highlights:

  • Two elementary-level openings with collaborative teams
  • 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week initially; positions will adjust to 5.75 hours per day, 28.75 hours per week when an SLP is hired
  • Possibility for an increase to 30 hours per week, pending coordinator approval
  • Opportunity to provide targeted speech and language support to students with varying levels of need, including those utilizing AAC devices
  • Active participation in team meetings, IEPs, and ongoing professional development
  • Meaningful collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers to maximize student progress
  • Supportive environment focused on student-centered therapy plans
