Qualifications:

  • Active certification/license as an SLPA in Texas
  • Experience working with school-age children is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision, targeting individualized speech and language goals
  • Implement lesson plans and therapy activities designed by the Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Collect and maintain accurate data and progress documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support teachers and classrooms with strategies for improving students’ communication skills
  • Assist in organizing therapy materials and maintaining an engaging therapy space
