Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. As a contracted, full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll play a vital part in helping children achieve their speech and language goals while working across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification meeting state requirements
  • Experience working with students in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with speech/language therapy techniques and documentation
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel between school locations as part of an itinerant caseload
  • Collaborative team approach with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff
  • Professional and clear communication abilities with students, families, and staff

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language interventions as directed by supervising SLP
  • Support the implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct screenings and collect data to monitor student progress
  • Prepare and organize materials needed for therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings, staff trainings, and parent conferences as required
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes for assigned students
  • Adapt to changing schedules and assignments across multiple campuses
