Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active SLPA license/certification (state requirements must be met)
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in implementing therapy protocols and lesson plans as directed by a licensed SLP
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with speech, language, and communication goals under SLP supervision
- Conduct guided individual and group therapy sessions, documenting student progress
- Assist in developing learning materials and maintaining accurate records of student performance
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate communication goals into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings when requested and contribute insightful feedback on student progress
