This full-time, in-person opportunity lets you enhance communication skills and provide continuity of care throughout the academic year. You’ll split your time, working three days per week at one school and one day each at the other two, helping a diverse young population achieve their goals.
Your day typically runs from 7:45 to 3:45, providing a manageable schedule that supports work-life balance. Immediate start available, continuing through the full school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Passion for supporting students in the school environment
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt to different school settings and flexible caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of an SLP
- Implement therapy activities tailored to IEP goals
- Collect data and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Assist with screenings and support generalization of communication skills in the classroom
