You’ll play a vital role in helping students excel, working collaboratively across both a high school and a middle school.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLPA license on hand (required at submission)
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings as an SLPA
• Ability to reliably commute between two specific campuses on the east side of Houston
• Access to dependable personal transportation
• On-site availability (remote positions not available)
• Willingness to complete/pay for required HISD fingerprinting in the first three days

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure students receive high-quality, individualized services
• Travel as needed between assigned schools, managing caseloads at both sites
• Document student progress and maintain thorough records as required by district protocols
