Support students’ communication success in an educational setting through a dynamic part-time contract opportunity. This school-based position focuses on serving K-8th grade students across two campuses, engaging with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students. Your expertise will help promote speech and language development, making a daily impact on students’ educational journeys. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and runs through May 21, 2027, offering professional consistency and growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current SLP Assistant (SLPA) license or certification for Texas or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school setting, working with K-8th grade students is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with activities, supports, and interventions appropriate to students with varying speech and language needs
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with licensed SLPs, educators, and families
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload and navigate two campuses within a reasonable area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy activities and treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
  • Work directly with students (K-8) in individual or small-group settings
  • Document student performance and maintain accurate records of session progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to progress monitoring and assessment
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ goals throughout two campuses
