Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or certification in Texas
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable managing diverse caseloads spanning elementary and middle school levels
  • Adept at supporting speech-language pathologists in assessments, therapy sessions, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language intervention services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress
  • Engage in collaborative planning and consult with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success
  • Maintain clear and accurate records according to school and district policies
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment by supporting various classroom activities
