This full-time, contract role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) passionate about fostering student growth and communication development. Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification in Texas
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads spanning elementary and middle school levels
- Adept at supporting speech-language pathologists in assessments, therapy sessions, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language intervention services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress
- Engage in collaborative planning and consult with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain clear and accurate records according to school and district policies
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment by supporting various classroom activities
