Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field (required)
- Active SLPA license in Delaware or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities planned and supervised by a licensed SLP
- Work with students individually or in small groups to target speech, language, and communication goals
- Collect data and document student progress accurately
- Assist in developing and modifying instructional materials
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional development
