Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) certification or licensure, in accordance with state requirements
• Experience working within a school setting, ideally supporting K-12 students
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and families
• Ability to adapt communication and therapy techniques for diverse student needs
• Organizational skills to manage therapy schedules and maintain timely records

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering direct and indirect therapy services
• Implement individualized intervention plans to support students' communication goals
• Conduct group or one-on-one sessions under supervision, following established goals and protocols
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting supports based on feedback and results
• Communicate progress and challenges to the supervising SLP and educational teams
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program development initiatives as needed
