This contract opportunity offers a collaborative environment within a dynamic team, including two additional SLPs and an SLPA, ensuring ongoing guidance and support as you help students reach their communication goals.

Enjoy a structured schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, with consideration for part-time candidates. Your day may begin with high school hours from 7:20 to 2:40 or elementary hours from 8:30 to 3:50, offering flexibility within your assignment. The itinerant nature of this position will give you the chance to make a difference in multiple educational settings, positively impacting students at various stages in their academic journey. Your specific caseload will be determined upon placement, keeping your daily work meaningful and dynamic.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Background as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings
  • Familiarity with K-12 populations
  • Strong planning, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to different school environments
  • Active state licensure required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language interventions to students
  • Carry out IEP goals while maintaining thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and your fellow speech team members
  • Travel between schools as needed within the assigned cluster
