School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Dundalk, Maryland

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an SLPA or SLP at a cluster of five schools in the Dundalk/Rock Hall, MD area! This dynamic itinerant role offers both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time scheduling options to best suit your needs. You'll work alongside a dedicated, collaborative team, including two seasoned SLPs and an additional SLPA, in a district known for its nurturing and supportive atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid licensure or certification as an SLPA or SLP for school-based practice
• Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for traveling between multiple schools
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering growth and communication success in K-12 students

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students (caseload specifics assigned upon placement)
• Travel between five schools, adapting to different schedules (High School: 7:20am-2:40pm; Elementary: 8:30am-3:50pm)
• Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to support students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with experienced SLPs and an SLPA to coordinate services and interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary team meetings
