Support students in a dynamic contract role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working with elementary, middle, or high school caseloads. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with experienced teams in a school setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification (required)
  • Previous experience in school environments or working with K-12 students (preferred)
  • Familiarity with educational documentation and progress tracking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, educators, and parents
  • Adaptable to varying caseloads and student needs across grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students with communication, articulation, language, and social skills development
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Prepare materials and organize sessions according to student goals
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed records
  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families regarding student goals and achievements
  • Contribute positively to the school environment and adapt to shifting caseloads as needed
