Bring your passion and expertise in speech-language assistance to a welcoming school environment! This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) seeking a meaningful way to support students' communication growth in a collaborative, onsite setting.

Working with students near Eagle, Idaho, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference during the academic year, August through the end of the school year. With a commitment of just 6-12 hours each week, this role offers valuable experience while maintaining a flexible schedule—ideal for those balancing multiple commitments or seeking part-time engagement in the education field.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLPA license or certification in Idaho
  • Prior experience or practicum in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs and fellow team members

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of student communication intervention plans
  • Support students individually and in small groups under the direction of a supervising SLP
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment conducive to student growth
