Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This full-time position provides 37.5 hours per week in a vibrant school environment and is available to start as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech-language pathologists with implementing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions
  • Support students individually or in small groups to address communication and language goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as directed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with general clerical tasks related to speech services
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages student growth and communication confidence
