This full-time position is located near Eau Claire, WI, within an elementary school environment, and focuses on delivering outstanding speech-language support to a caseload of approximately 28-30 students. Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold required credentials and eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school environment
- Previous experience working with young school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work closely with educators, therapists, and families
- Reliable, responsible individual with excellent communication abilities
- Energetic, dynamic approach and enthusiasm for positively influencing student outcomes
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades 2-3 under the supervision of an SLP
- Support students in achieving communication goals in both individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate language interventions within the classroom
- Prepare materials and document progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate flexibility and a team spirit in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
Position Details:
- Contract position, max 40 hours per week
- Workdays run Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
- School building: Elementary School setting
- Direct in-person services (teletherapy not preferred)
