Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity in a vibrant educational setting supporting students in grades 2 and 3. This full-time position is located near Eau Claire, WI, within an elementary school environment, and focuses on delivering outstanding speech-language support to a caseload of approximately 28-30 students. The assignment runs from August 25 through June 3, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to make a long-term impact.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Hold required credentials and eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school environment
  • Previous experience working with young school-aged children preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work closely with educators, therapists, and families
  • Reliable, responsible individual with excellent communication abilities
  • Energetic, dynamic approach and enthusiasm for positively influencing student outcomes

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in grades 2-3 under the supervision of an SLP
  • Support students in achieving communication goals in both individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate language interventions within the classroom
  • Prepare materials and document progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a team spirit in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere

Position Details:

  • Contract position, max 40 hours per week
  • Workdays run Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
  • School building: Elementary School setting
  • Direct in-person services (teletherapy not preferred)
