Position Overview:
- Contract assignment at an elementary school
- 21 hours per week, scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am–4:00 pm
- Work closely with students and the school’s SLP team to deliver high-quality speech and language services
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or credential
- Prior experience working in a school setting is essential
- Strong ability to quickly adapt and confidently manage a caseload in an educational environment
- High level of professionalism and reliability—ready to step in and begin supporting students in October
- Only candidates with direct schools experience will be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language interventions under the supervision of the on-site SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to address student communication goals
- Accurately document sessions, maintain records, and contribute to IEP processes as needed
- Communicate progress and needs to SLP supervisor, staff, and families
This opportunity provides a predictable schedule—21 hours per week—without the possibility of increasing to 30 hours per week. No SLP-CCC or CF supervision required; the need is strictly for an experienced SLPA.
