Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLPA license in California
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to implement speech and language therapy plans under the direction of a supervising SLP
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for school-based therapy
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support SLP in delivering therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Assist in preparing and organizing therapy materials and documentation
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
  • Track and document student progress, reporting updates to the supervising SLP and educational team
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to promote generalization of speech/language skills in the classroom and at home
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
