Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based opportunity in Elma, WA. This is a great opportunity to support students' communication development while working alongside a collaborative special education team.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.

• Assist students with articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication skills.

• Support students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

• Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.

• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to support student success.

• Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling and other responsibilities within the SLPA scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.

• Must meet Washington State requirements for SLPA certification or credentialing.

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs and special education teams.
