Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLPA license or registration, meeting state and national requirements
  • Previous experience in school or healthcare settings as an SLPA preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language interventions to students under the guidance of a supervising SLP
  • Support classroom teachers and staff in integrating communication goals across learning environments
  • Offer bilingual (Spanish/English) support to students and families
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in data collection
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the changing needs of students from preschool through 6th grade
  • Participate in team meetings and reflect the values of inclusivity and cultural competence
