Apply NowStep into an enriching school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students alongside a collaborative team of educators and specialists. Multiple positions are available: two full-time roles (37.5 hours/week) and one part-time role (three days per week), all beginning August 12, 2026 through May 28, 2027.
In these dynamic positions, you'll help make a lasting impact by providing direct speech-language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Caseloads for full-time roles are shared between elementary and middle school populations, while the part-time assignment covers both middle and high school students. Each position involves dedicated service to just one building, allowing you to build deeper connections with staff and students.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Hold active Colorado SLPA license
- Previous experience providing speech therapy support in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Positive, student-centered attitude and strong professional ethics
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students’ communication goals through individual and small group sessions
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to help students succeed in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and relevant training as needed
