In this contract position, you will:
- Deliver speech and language interventions as outlined by supervising Speech Language Pathologists
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for diverse student populations
- Support students in achieving their communication goals in accordance with best practices and educational standards
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and help prepare for IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Ensure all interventions comply with district, state, and departmental policies and requirements
Ideal candidates will bring:
- An active Georgia SLPA license or relevant state certification
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Proven ability to support speech and language therapy services under SLP guidance
- Strong communication skills, excellent organization, and attention to detail
- Availability to work full-time onsite throughout the school year
