Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Evansville, IN

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field
• Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Indiana
• Previous experience supporting children or adolescents, preferably in educational or pediatric settings
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with therapy documentation and technology platforms
• Team-oriented attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language intervention programs following the supervising SLP’s guidance
• Support students individually or in small groups to enhance speech, language, and communication abilities
• Track progress and accurately report on student performance
• Maintain organized records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to align goals and strategies
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
