Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited SLPA program and current state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficiency implementing speech-language interventions and documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
  • Positive and proactive approach to working with children, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist SLPs with therapeutic interventions aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy to students under SLP supervision
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Prepare materials and support classroom teachers with speech-language strategies
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
  • Adhere to district, state, and federal regulations for school-based practice
