Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
• Washington state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Provide support during therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
• Document student progress and assist in maintaining accurate records
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities tailored to individual student needs
• Work closely with teachers and families to facilitate carryover of communication strategies in classroom and home settings
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training as required
