Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Speech-Language, or Communication Disorders (required)
- Experience or commitment to working in educational or pediatric settings
- Dedication to collaboration and a student-centered approach
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech-language services to students under licensed supervision
- Support development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Prepare materials and document student progress according to school procedures
- Engage students in therapeutic activities both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to reinforce classroom learning
- Participate in relevant professional development and team meetings
