Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and diverse communication needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, therapists, and families
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique speech and language goals
- Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary teams focused on student support and intervention planning
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates clearly with supervising SLP and educational staff
- Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and family conferences as needed
