Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and diverse communication needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, therapists, and families
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage caseload documentation and scheduling

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique speech and language goals
  • Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary teams focused on student support and intervention planning
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates clearly with supervising SLP and educational staff
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and family conferences as needed
