Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based opportunity in Farmville, VA. This is a great opportunity to support students' communication development while working alongside a collaborative special education team.

Job Responsibilities

Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.

Assist students with articulation, language development, fluency, and communication skills.

Support students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.

Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to support student success.

Assist with therapy materials, scheduling, and other assigned responsibilities within the SLPA scope of practice.

Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field with required SLPA training.

Must meet Virginia's requirements to practice as an SLPA.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
