Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Fayetteville, NC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid North Carolina SLPA license required
• Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a school environment strongly preferred
• Proficiency in implementing speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and create a positive, motivating learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students as established in IEPs and under the supervision of SLPs
• Document student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to support student communication goals
• Prepare materials and adapt activities to meet varying student needs
• Participate in meetings and contribute to planning for student success
