Key Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
  • Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary students, is strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads and adapt to the unique needs of young learners
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Must meet district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and contractor forms prior to start

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to elementary-aged children under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students’ communication goals with evidence-based strategies and interventions
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and other school-based activities as needed
