Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA license required
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization necessary
- Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Positive attitude and adaptability in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist in documenting student progress and preparing session notes
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Prepare materials and activities to support language and communication goals
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for students
