An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at a well-respected school setting near Franklin, TN. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families to support students in achieving their communication and learning goals. You’ll provide direct therapy, participate in student evaluations, and help implement intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLPA licensure/certification (or eligibility) in Tennessee
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to adapt to different learning environments and student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize students’ success
- Assist with screening and scheduled evaluations as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
