Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Franklin, TN

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Communications Disorders
• Valid, current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document student progress
• Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about ongoing learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy sessions and activities as directed by supervising SLPs
• Assist in screening, assessing, and documenting the progress of students
• Support IEP goals, providing hands-on guidance and encouragement for student success
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Participate in professional development and ongoing supervision as required
