Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or eligibility in the state
  • Prior experience in schools preferred, but open to candidates with pediatric or clinical backgrounds
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
  • Flexibility, positive attitude, and commitment to student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow treatment plans developed by supervising SLP for students with communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
  • Collect data and document student progress in accordance with school policies
  • Prepare therapy materials and support the implementation of speech-language goals
  • Engage with parents, teachers, and other professionals in a supportive team setting
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings as needed
