What you’ll need to bring:
- Valid SLPA certification and authorization to practice in California
- Familiarity with school-based and/or pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and student goal tracking
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Willingness to participate in virtual and on-site meetings
- Current ASHA SLP Certification
Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students
- Supporting documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Delivering targeted interventions and group sessions under the supervision of an SLP
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with students, staff, and families
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with IEP preparations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities
