School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fremont, California

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active SLPA licensure in California required
• Previous experience working in school settings is a strong advantage
• Background in healthcare speech therapy settings a plus
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with therapists, educators, and families
• Understanding of IEPs and ability to follow therapy plans as directed by supervising SLP
• Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable to various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group speech therapy interventions under supervision
• Assist in implementing individualized education program (IEP) speech/language goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate session notes as required
• Support SLPs in preparing therapy materials and modifying activities as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce language strategies across educational settings

• Ensure compliance with all school and state regulations regarding student privacy and therapy delivery
