Step into a dynamic school-based role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) can make a real difference for students from elementary through middle school. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to work across two elementary schools and one middle school—serving one campus three days per week and the other two for one day each. The position runs from as soon as possible through the end of the school year, typically operating within the hours of 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in California
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, especially with elementary and/or middle school students, is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration skills and a passion for supporting students’ communication goals
  • Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent organizational skills, with reliable and punctual work habits
  • Quick availability to start and commitment through the entire school year

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP
  • Support students with a range of communication needs, tailoring interventions to IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and families regarding student progress
  • Assist in documentation, progress monitoring, and preparation of instructional materials
  • Travel between school sites as scheduled for service delivery
