Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Fremont, CA

Make an impact in the educational journey of students by supporting their speech and language development as an SLPA in a dynamic school environment. This full-time, in-person role involves providing vital assistance across two elementary schools and one middle school, allowing you to work with a variety of ages and educational needs throughout the week. The schedule typically covers one campus for three days and the other two for one day each, offering variety and meaningful engagement. The position starts as soon as possible and extends through the entire school year, with structured hours likely from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
• Previous experience or practicum in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Passion for working with children in elementary and middle school grades
• Clear, professional communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and other school staff
• Ability to manage and organize caseloads across multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students’ communication goals within classroom and therapy settings
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist with data collection
• Participate in school meetings, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and provide input on student needs
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for diverse learners
