Step into a rewarding, full-time contract position supporting students across two elementary schools and one middle school as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This in-person role near Fremont, CA, spans the full school year and needs a dedicated professional to begin as soon as possible.

You’ll collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and school staff to deliver impactful interventions, helping students unlock their communication potential. Enjoy a balanced schedule—spending three days each week at one elementary campus and one day each at the other schools, roughly from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Valid SLPA license in California
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, especially with elementary and/or middle school students
  • Strong understanding of speech-language therapy techniques and intervention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out therapy activities and intervention plans developed by the supervising SLP
  • Support students individually and in small groups to target speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collect, record, and report data on student progress
  • Prepare instructional materials and maintain therapy resources
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in school-based practice
