What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLPA license in hand, or eligibility to receive one by the interview date
  • A passion for working with children and supporting diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, though not required
  • Reliability and commitment to providing consistent therapy services from now through the end of the school year

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
  • Support students individually or in small groups to develop communication skills
  • Help track student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and professional standards
