Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field, or an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • Current and active SLPA license or certification
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal), especially in high-stress or crisis situations
  • Ability to work onsite; virtual options are not available
  • Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed
  • Familiarity with providing direct and indirect services in accordance with students’ IEPs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy sessions under SLP supervision
  • Collaborate closely with SLPs, teachers, and school staff
  • Document progress and maintain clear records in line with IEP goals
  • Engage in professional development and ongoing training
  • Support students’ communication needs with empathy and professionalism
