Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as an SLPA or SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong ability to connect with school-aged children and foster a supportive learning environment
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to commit to the entire contract duration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students under the direction of a supervising SLP, or independently if SLP-credentialed
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to IEP meetings, as appropriate
- Conduct therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student progress
- Partner with teachers and staff to support students’ communication success within the classroom setting
