Desired Qualifications

  • Valid SLPA license or certification in California
  • Experience working with children or young adults in educational or therapeutic settings
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Support students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote student development
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide insights to help guide student goals
  • Encourage a positive learning environment through patience and empathy
