Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
• Previous experience supporting speech therapy in educational settings is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, compassionate approach with children and adolescents.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, and families.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy services under supervision, focusing on improving students’ articulation, language, voice, and fluency.
• Document progress, collect data, and maintain accurate records as required by the school and district.
• Support classroom teachers by adapting materials and strategies to facilitate communication and language development.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities.
• Communicate progress and challenges to the supervising SLP and relevant school personnel.
