School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Fresno, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active California SLPA license required
• Minimum of three months hands-on SLPA experience
• Comfortable managing a caseload in an elementary school setting (TK-5)
• Flexibility to adapt within a Full-Time, Full School Year contract
• Bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued but not mandatory
• Strong willingness to collaborate with supervising SLPs, with an initial meet-and-greet to ensure effective partnership

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect services to students under the guidance of a supervising SLP
• Assist with screening, assessing, and documenting student progress
• Carry out individualized and group interventions to address communication goals
• Maintain thorough records and support data collection for IEP and progress reporting
• Collaborate with school staff and families to enhance student success
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
