This assignment spans from mid-October to early February, offering a focused, impactful experience where you can collaborate directly with a highly supportive supervising SLP through virtual oversight. Prior to placement, you'll have the chance to connect with the SLP to ensure compatibility and smooth teamwork.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license required
  • Minimum of three months’ experience as an SLPA
  • Experience working in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to elementary-aged students as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Collect data, track student progress, and contribute to documentation requirements
  • Implement therapy activities designed by the SLP to meet students’ individualized goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in supervision and consult regularly with the supervising SLP for feedback and guidance
