Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field required
  • Active SLPA license/certification for California
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred (fieldwork/internship counts)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to professional growth and upholding ethical standards
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for supporting student learning

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists with implementing therapy plans for students
  • Provide direct intervention services under supervision, addressing speech, language, and communication goals
  • Support documentation of student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
  • Contribute to assessments, prepare materials, and support students in classroom or therapy settings
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and caregivers to encourage progress
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
