What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Ability to follow treatment plans created by a supervising SLP
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and compassion for working with children of diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of therapy documentation and progress tracking in a school setting
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a professional rapport

Your Role Will Include:

  • Implementing speech and language therapy sessions under supervision
  • Supporting students on caseloads with various communication needs
  • Assisting in screenings, evaluations, and developing educational materials
  • Documenting student progress and session notes efficiently
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families as needed
  • Participating in IEP meetings and other interdisciplinary team activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring student goals are addressed
