Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Texas SLPA licensure or eligibility
• Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of pediatric speech and language development
• Ability to implement therapy plans under supervision
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with documentation, progress tracking, and adapting to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, as directed by an SLP
• Assist in screening, assessment, and evaluation activities
• Support the development and maintenance of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document student progress and communicate updates to supervising SLPs
• Prepare therapy materials and instructional activities
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school activities to support a collaborative learning atmosphere
