In this role, you’ll provide critical communication support throughout the school year, serving a diverse student population. Your primary focus will be delivering speech-language interventions under supervision, helping students improve their communication skills and reach their academic goals. You’ll play an integral part in each child’s educational journey, benefiting from meaningful relationships and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or certification required
  • Previous experience or clinical placement in school settings preferred
  • Ability to support K-12 students with varied communication needs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ready to start ASAP and commit through the end of the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized and group speech-language activities as directed by supervising SLP
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
  • Assist with screening and informal assessments
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students
  • Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and school personnel
